The amazing San Blas Islands are located in a privileged region of the Caribbean Ocean. Away from hurricane paths, no hurricanes have ever been registered in this area. The islands are known for their stunning natural beauty and relatively small size. You have islands like Chichime, which is one of the largest ones, that can be walked around in less than 40 minutes, and you also have tiny islands that are literally bumps of white sand that take but a few steps to traverse from end to end.
The crystal clear waters are warm (80° to 85° F) and it is amazing to watch them change to different shades of blue as the day goes by and the light changes. The air temperature is warm all year too (86° to 91° F), so you can leave your sweaters and heavy clothes at home. It is never cold in San Blas.
The snorkeling season (May to November): It is the best season for #snorkeling because the waters are calmer and you can enjoy a garden of colorful #coralreefs in all their splendor. It is also the wet season as tropical thunderstorms are typical of this time of year. Because of the rain, you also have the best visibility for #stargazing with clear skies at night that allow you to see the Milky Way! It is quite a sight for #stargazers, and if you're thinking: where to snorkel this year? Well, here, in #snorkelingparadise
The sailing season (December to April): This is hands down the best time for sailing as there's plenty wind thanks to the prevailing Trade Winds (15 to 20 knots). If you're mainly here for the #caribbeansailing, this is when. You can spend the whole day traversing the archipelago or #islandhop and see 2 to 3 islands in one day.
So come on, enjoy Christmas Holidays, New Year's Holiday, Carnival, Easter brake, a birthday, a honey moon, a college reunion or just a Caribbean getaway with your boo to nurture your spirit with magical moments, fill your eyes with the most beautiful sceneries and learn how the simple life on board a boat can be so fulfilling!
