THE BOAT:
BauMau offers an unforgettable sailing experience in Kuna Yala / San Blas aboard a newly restored and renovated sailboat. This oceanic expedition vessel, designed by Gilbert Caroff, is a custom-built 45-foot sailboat named Ile Super Disko. Originally built in 1986, it was completely restored in 2023. The boat is spacious, comfortable, and stable, featuring a newly built motor for reliable performance. Aesthetically, everything is freshly painted, ensuring the boat not only functions perfectly but also shines with a pristine appearance.

The sailboat provides 2 comfortable and private cabins for up to 4 guests, offering an intimate and exclusive experience. Each cabin is designed to maximize comfort and convenience, with everything in perfect working order.
FOOD:
Enjoy a selection of freshly prepared dishes each day, lovingly crafted by our onboard chef. We will work with you before your arrival to create a menu tailored to your specific preferences, ensuring you have the menu of your dreams. Note that while the meals are included, alcohol and snacks such as chocolates and chips are not provided.
There is also the option to visit some local restaurants during your stay with us.

With an in-depth knowledge of San Blas, he crafts personalized charters, offering unique local experiences and authentic encounters. Our chef changes according to your needs and the duration of your stay, but we always place a strong emphasis on local cuisine and fresh ingredients.

I took a 3 night / 4 day sailing trip around the San Blas Islands region of Panama on Bau Mau. It was a great adventure. We motor sailed to 3 locations exploring different island settings, sadly the prevailing winds were not favourable to unfurl the sails. The swimming and snorkeling was excellent at each location.

Fantastic spot and a lot of fresh healthy food. Fernando did always his best so that we could have a wonderful time on his boat.
